The Baltimore Ravens are officially moving on from veteran quarterback Joe Flacco, as Lamar Jackson has been named the team's full-time starter.

Jackson, who replaced Flacco due to injury, has looked good in his starting tenure. The team clearly wants to invest in him moving forward.

What does this mean for Flacco?

A trade could be coming.

Flacco could either hit free agency or be traded to the team of his choice, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The team reportedly wants to handle the process "with class."

Flacco has several years remaining on his contract, so a trade would likely be the preferred outcome for the Ravens. If they can't find a trading partner, he could be released, though it would impact their salary cap.

The Ravens improved to 8-6 with a win over Tampa Bay today.
