New AP Poll Released - Alabama Still 1, But Oregon Gaining First Place Votes
Oregon didn't even have to play this past weekend to change some AP voters' minds ahead of this week's poll.
While Alabama remained undefeated and hung onto the top spot in the poll, its lackluster performance against Colorado State has many thinking that the Tide may not be the best team in the land. The Ducks have looked far more impressive in their three victories, and a few voters appear to have noticed - the Ducks received four first place votes this week, up from one last week. Only time will tell if it's the right decision.
A few other notes:
- Michigan dropped in the poll for the second consecutive week despite defeating UConn
- Arizona State drops out of the poll after its loss to Stanford
- The SEC has four teams in the top ten, yet again
