Army vs. Notre Dame preview:
Army (5-4) enters the contest coming off of a loss to Air Force last Saturday 31-12. Notre Dame (3-6) has lost three of its last four games played including last week's game against Navy as the Irish fell 28-27 at home.
Notre Dame gave up 320 rushing yards to Navy a week ago in its one point loss. The Irish were successful in moving the football with 370 yards of offense, but seven penalties for 47 yards hurt their cause. Quarterback DeShone Kizer had a nice outing last week with 223 yards passing and three scores.
Army had a very tough time putting drives together against Air Force as the Black Knights were held to just 228 yards of offense. Army also committed two turnovers which didn't help its efforts. Quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw threw two interceptions against Air Force as well.
Notre Dame and Army last played in 2010 when the Fighting Irish earned a 27-3 win.
Army vs. Notre Dame Prediction:
Kizer has shown he is a quality quarterback for Notre Dame, but he will have his hands full against one of the top defenses in college football on Saturday.
The Knights will have to of course score and move the football in order to get a win which will happen in the showdown in San Antonio. Army is the hungrier football team while Notre Dame and Brian Kelly's seasons are practically over.
Black Knights rolls over a poor Notre Dame team.
