Auburn-Charleston Is The Worst Game Of The NCAA Tournament By Far

An upset is brewing in a major NCAA Tournament game tonight. That game is also being called one of the worst-played games people have ever seen.

Auburn, the No. 4 seed in the Midwest Region, is taking on No. 13 seed College of Charleston. The game was tied at halftime and it remains close a couple of minutes into the second half.

The game itself, though, has been dreadful to watch. Both teams are playing terribly.

With about 14 minutes to play in the second half, we had 21 combined turnovers. Auburn was shooting less than 30 percent from the field; Charleston was shooting less than 40 percent.

The two teams were a combined 5 for 33 from the 3-point line. The teams had missed 9 combined free throws.

It's rough.

"I would say that Auburn-Charleston is worse basketball than approximately 65 percent of summer AAU basketball games," said one analyst.

If you want to watch the dreadfulness for yourself, the game is being televised on truTV.

Or don't.
