Wichita State's sophomore guard, Austin Reaves, is leaving the program. This is a move that's come as a major shock to many.

Reaves, a 6-foot-5 guard, averaged 8 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists a game last season. He was one of the best shooters in college basketball.

The standout guard shot 42.5 percent from the 3-point line. He shot better than 50 percent from the 3-point line as a freshman.

This is a major loss for Wichita State's program.

It's unclear for the reason behind Reaves' transfer. One report says his relationship with the fan base was not great toward the end of the season.

Wichita State went 25-8 last season. The Shockers lost to No. 13 seed Marshall in the first round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament.
