The Bahamas Bowl is a relative newcomer to the bowl schedule, and it has been a fun matchup between Group of Five programs in an exotic location.

This year's Bahamas Bowl is reportedly set.

According to Brett McMurphy of Stadium, the 2018 Bahamas Bowl will feature a Toledo vs. FIU matchup.

He reported the game via Twitter this afternoon.

It will be the first Bahamas Bowl trip for both programs.

The bowl is yet to repeat a team, with Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Eastern Michigan, and Ohio representing the MAC ahead of the year.

Conference USA has been represented by Western Kentucky, Middle Tennessee, Old Dominion, and UAB in the game. The two leagues are 2-2 in the game.

Toledo, typically a MAC power, had a slow start this season, but won four of five games down the stretch, finishing with a 7-5 record and 5-3 in league play.

In year two under Butch Davis, FIU went 8-4, with a 6-2 CUSA mark.

ESPN's FPI ranks Toledo No. 71, with FIU No. 90 in the country. SB Nation's S&P+ system also favors the Rockets, which rank 51st in the country, vs. FIU at No. 85.

The game will be played on Friday, Dec. 21 at 12:30 p.m. ET.
