The Cleveland Browns have officially named a starting quarterback for Week 4 of the 2018 regular season.

Browns head coach Hue Jackson announced this afternoon that rookie Baker Mayfield will be the starting quarterback moving forward, even when Tyrod Taylor is healthy.

Mayfield played in the second half of the Browns' comeback win over the Jets on Thursday night.

"I informed the group this morning that we're going to start Baker Mayfield and Tyrod will be the backup if healthy," Jackson said.

"Baker understands there's still a lot of work to do. ... Now the other added pressure of being out there first is there. But I think he can handle it. He's demonstrated that."

The Browns are set to play in Oakland on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 4:05 p.m. E.T.
