Bears QB Mitch Trubisky Reveals How He Found Out About The Khalil Mack Trade

Khalil Mack heads out onto the field.

The Bears stunned the rest of the NFL over this past weekend, acquiring Khalil Mack in one of the biggest blockbuster deals in recent memory. Regardless of all his accomplishments in Oakland, the All-Pro linebacker will now represent Chicago for the foreseeable future.

While the majority of the Windy City was celebrating their recent addition, Mitch Trubisky discovered the news in a rather anticlimactic experience.

It appears that the former second overall pick heard about the trade from his mother, as she stormed into his room to tell him about his newest teammate. As for Trubisky's response, the UNC product wasn't exactly in the mood for an early morning conversation.

According to NFL Network's Andrew Siciliano, Trubisky said "Get out of here. Leave me alone. I'm going back to sleep."

Sure, Trubisky didn't sound thrilled when he initially heard about Mack joining the Bears, but he'll certainly appreciate the former Defensive Player of the Year, when he's forcing turnovers on the gridiron.

After all, Mack has totaled 40.5 sacks in his first four seasons.

With Chicago preparing for a divisional clash with the Packers on Sunday, Trubisky and the Bears will need Mack to wreak havoc on Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay's offense.
