Bengals vs. Cowboys Preview:

The Bengals come into this one off of a dominating performance against the Dolphins in which they picked up a 22-7 win improving to 2-2. The 3-1 Cowboys are fresh off of a 24-17 win in San Francisco over the 49ers.

Dak Prescott has played above expectations all season for Dallas. He went 23-for-32 for 245 yards and threw two touchdowns against the 49ers. Andy Dalton looked strong against the Dolphins in their Thursday night matchup with 296 passing yards and one touchdown. Dalton ranks third in the NFL in total passing yards with 1,234 yards on the year.

A.J. Green has been a favorite target for Dalton this season as he has 32 catches on 44 targets. The former Georgia Bulldog sits third in the NFL in total receiving yards with 468.

Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has been stellar this season as he leads the NFL in rushing yards with 412 on the year.

Dallas' offense has shown the ability to score consistently all season averaging 25.3 points per contest. Cincinnati ranks 24th in the league with just 19.5 points per game.

Cincinnati holds the edge in terms of total defense as it ranks ninth in the league in yards allowed per game with 322.8.

Dallas head coach Jason Garrett is in his seventh season with the team and enters this matchup with a 47-44 record as a head coach in the NFL.

Marvin Lewis is an established NFL head coach who also enters his 14th season with the Bengals. Lewis brings a 114-96 record into the weekend’s contest.

Bengals vs. Cowboys Prediction:

Prescott will take care of the football and Elliott will continue on his tear. Andy Dalton and A.J. Green will get theirs, but it won't be enough. Cowboys take this one at home.
