The 4-1 Patiorts enter the contest after picking up a dominant win against Cleveland, 33-13, last week in Tom Brady's return. The the 2-3 Bengals are coming off of a 28-14 loss at Dallas.
Tom Brady was extremely impressive against the Browns in his first game back from suspension. He went 28-for-40 through the air for 406 yards and three touchdowns. Rob Gronkowski and Chris Hogan each wracked up over 100 yards receiving with 109 and 114, respectively. The Pats held the Browns to just 262 yards of total offense.
Andy Dalton did not have a bad game against the Cowboys, but did not get much help from his defense. He completed 29 of his 41 passes for 269 yards and two scores. The Cowboys out gained the Bengals 402 to 345 on the day while Dallas picked up 180 rushing yards.
The Patriots hold a 15-9 record all-time against the Bengals in their 24 regular season meetings.
Bengals vs. Patriots prediction:
It's tough to see Brady dropping his first home game of the season. Both defenses are pretty similar in terms of yards allowed per game with Cincinnati sitting 11th in the league and New England 13th.
Brady and Dalton will be slinging it all over the place, but the advantage has to go to Brady and the Pats.
Patriots 27, Bengals 13
