Illinois' men's basketball program lost some big man depth today, as a freshman forward announced on Twitter his intentions to transfer.

Greg Eboigbodin, a rising sophomore, announced this afternoon that he's decided to transfer out of the Illini' program.

The former three-star recruit averaged 2.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.1 fouls in 10.6 minutes per game as a freshman. His best game came against Michigan when he totaled 10 points, six rebounds and two blocks.

His full announcement can be seen below:

This is the third transfer out of Illinois' program of the five players who committed to Brad Underwood for the 2017 class.

The Illini have also lost Mark Smith and Matic Vesel to transfer.

It's unclear what schools the big man will consider. Stay tuned.
