The Big Ten is losing a 7-foot big man ahead of the 2018-19 season, according to a new report by Scout.com insider Evan Daniels.
Matz Stockman, a 7-footer from Minnesota, will be graduating and transferring out of the program before the 2018-19 season, according to the report. He will be eligible to play right away.
"Matz Stockman will graduate and transfer from Minnesota, per a source. The 7-footer will have one year of eligibility and is able to play right away," Daniels reports.
Stockman is a Norway native. He previously played at Louisville.
The 7-foot big man spent three seasons at Louisville before transferring to Minnesota. He had to sit out the 2017-18 season.
It's unclear where Stockman will look at on the transfer market. Stay tuned.
