Having played eight seasons in the NFL, Anthony “Booger” McFarland had plenty of opportunities to wreck his body. But the effects his career had on his hands are starting to really gross people out.
A screen capture from McFarland’s commentary during Monday Night Football this past week turned his damaged hands and fingers into a national talking point.
As you can see, the middle and pinky fingers on his left hand are permanently crooked.
McFarland is in his first year on the announce team for Monday Night Football, and can typically be seen in a special chair that has also been a topic of discussion.

McFarland played his first 7.5 seasons as a defensive tackle with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He won Super Bowl XXXVII with Warren Sapp and company after the 2002 season.
In 2006, he was traded to the Indianapolis Colts and went on to be a key defensive piece in their Super Bowl run.
He recorded a sack in Super Bowl XLI, earning his second ring in the process.
It’s safe to assume he doesn’t try sticking those rings on one of those damaged fingers…
