Tonight's bowl game between South Florida and Marshall is set to kick off at 8 p.m. E.T., but the contest could be delayed due to bad weather.

The Gasparilla Bowl, set to be played in St. Petersburg, Fla., had been played indoors at Tropicana Field, but it's since been moved outside.

That might prove to be a bad decision this year.

There's bad weather in the South Florida area and storms could affect the contest's starting time.

"Ahoy, mateys! Today's the day! Before ye drop anchor for #GasparillaBowl2018, make sure to check our social media for all weather updates. The waters are rough, so stay cautious when setting sail for #RaidingRayJay," the bowl tweeted.

South Florida and Marshall are scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m. E.T. on ESPN.

Stay tuned for more updates.
