John Wall isn’t the only Washington Wizards player that has been linked with a move out of the nation’s capital. Shooting guard Bradley Beal has been the subject of a break-up with the team as well.
But in the wake of a recent report that indicated that Beal was looking to leave Washington, Beal’s agent Mark Bartelstein refuted the rumors.
Washington Sports writer Candace Buckner interviewed Bartelstein, who called the recent reports “absolutely not true.”
Bartelstein stated that Beal is focused on playing for the Wizards and that nobody would know better than he would what Beal is planning.
(2/2) Bartelstein on the Beal report: "That is absolutely not true. The only sources that would know Brad thinking’s are Brad and myself. And Brad’s focus is 100% on helping the #Wizards play consistent, winning basketball.”

As of writing, the Wizards are 7-12 on the season with Beal leading the way in some significant categories.
Beal has been averaging over 34 minutes a game, with a team-leading 21.5 points per game. He also has 4.6 rebounds per game and 4.1 assists per game.
The 25-year-old Beal was the third overall pick by the Wizards in the 2012 NBA draft. He made it to his first NBA All-Star Game last year and has helped lead the team to the playoffs in four of the last five seasons.
