Over the weekend, Tiger Woods took home his first major victory in over a decade. It didn't come easy, however, as several other golfers went low on the weekend to give Tiger a run for his money.
Among the top competitors in the field was Brooks Koepka. The three-time major champion finished in a tie for second place, just one shot behind Woods.
The two-time U.S. Open champion and one-time PGA Championship winner finished at 12-under for the tournament.
Koepka's best finish in a major prior to the 2017 season came in 2014 when he tied for fourth in the U.S. Open and in 2016 at the PGA Championship.
That all changed in 2017 when Koepka took home his first major at the U.S. Open. He followed that up by winning two more majors in 2018 - the U.S. Open and PGA Championship.
Following the 2019 Masters, Koepka decided to take the week off. After competing over the weekend, Koepka and longtime girlfriend Jena Sims fled to the British Virgin Islands for vacation.
Sims is a model/actress with more than 100,000 followers on Instagram. The couple has been dating for multiple years.
Next up on the major circuit is the PGA Championship from Bethpage State Park which tees off on May 16.
