The Cleveland Browns have opened training camp. Already, one of the team's 2018 draft picks may have suffered an injury.

Now, it wasn't first-rounders Baker Mayfield or Denzel Ward. Browns fans can exhale at that, but it still stinks to see a young player go down this early.

Today, wide receiver Damion Ratley, the team's sixth-round pick out of Texas A&M exited the practice field on a cart. According to writers on the scene, he appeared to injure his leg.

Judging by the photo below, his left leg was the one Ratley injured.

After quiet seasons in 2015 and 2016, Ratley exploded onto the NFL radar last fall. He caught 30 passes for 694 yards and six touchdowns.

Ratley already had his work cut out for him in terms of making the roster. The Browns have Corey Coleman, Jarvis Landry, Josh Gordon, Rashad Higgins, rookie Antonio Callaway and others at wide receiver already.

Hopefully, Ratley isn't seriously injured and can get back on the field soon.
