Bryce Harper is struggling this season. The Washington Nationals' All-Star outfielder, who's in the final year of his contract, is hitting a measly .217. He's 7 for 48 so far in June.
What do you do when you're in a slump at the plate? Change something up. And that's exactly what Harper has done.
Harper has made a drastic change to his appearance.
The Las Vegas native, who's known for his flowing hair and grizzly beard, has decided to go with a clean-shaven look.
Harper debuted his new look in this afternoon's game against the Yankees. Washington and New York are resuming a game that had to be stopped due to rain last month.

It didn't seem to help in his first at-bat of the game, though. Harper struck out to lead off the bottom of the sixth inning (again, the game is being resumed).
We'll see if it helps Harper at all moving forward tonight. The Nationals and the Yankees are tied, 3-3.
