One of the top athlete recruits in the 2019 class announced his top schools on Tuesday night.
Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith four-star athlete Cam’Ron Kelly is down to eight schools. Kelly has over 40 scholarship offers, so last night’s list is a significant trimming of his options.
Kelly is down to Auburn, Clemson, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Virginia and Washington State.
He did not provide a date for his commitment, but said a decision is “coming soon.”

One of the eight schools on Kelly’s list looks like the prohibitive favorite to land him. That program is Penn State.
Kelly visited Happy Valley last weekend, and every prediction in his 247Sports Crystal Ball is for the Nittany Lions.
Kelly is the No. 4 player in Virginia according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
