Carmelo Anthony has yet to officially make a decision on his future. The 10-time All-Star forward remains a part of the Oklahoma City Thunder's organization - for now, anyway.

That's likely to change in the near future, though. The Thunder and Anthony are reportedly working on a way to let him hit free agency.

Anthony has one year left on his contract. OKC is working on either buying out the remainder of his deal or stretching the rest of his contract. Getting rid of Anthony before the start of the 2018-19 season will save the Thunder nearly $100 million in luxury tax penalties.

Where will Anthony end up once he leaves Oklahoma City?

Houston has been named the favorite by most experts.

One NBA veteran forward is saying Anthony to the Rockets is already "done."

"That’s been done for awhile," Jared Dudley said when asked if he thinks Carmelo will end up in Houston.

OK then.

Houston could certainly use some more depth at small forward. The Rockets have already lost two of their top forwards from a season ago in Trevor Ariza and Luc Mbah a Moute.

Carmelo Anthony is a different kind of player - he's a better shooter but more of an iso player and a worse defender - but it doesn't seem like the Rockets are going to pass on him.
