We're about seven hours away from tipoff at Game 1 of the NBA Finals. The Cavs just got some great news ahead of tipoff.

Kevin Love, who missed Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals while in concussion protocol, has been taken out of concussion protocol. He will be playing tonight.

The Cavs announced the news moments ago:

This is obviously big for Cleveland. Love's an All-Star and his ability to space the floor could be a major key against Golden State.

The 6-foot-10 forward averaged 17.6 points and 9.3 rebounds a game during the regular season.

Love is averaging 13.9 points 10 rebounds a game during the postseason.

Game 1 is set to tip off at 9 p.m. E.T. The game will be televised on ABC.

Golden State enters the series as a massive favorite.
