The Cavs Are Reportedly Looking To Trade These 2 Players

A general view of the Cleveland cavaliers basketball court.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are going to have a vastly different roster next season. First and foremost, LeBron James is gone.

The Cavs' changes go beyond King James though. They could potentially trade Kevin Love and start completely over. At the very least, some other veterans will likely be moved.

According to a new report from Amico Hoops, Cleveland is "actively looking" to trade point guard George Hill and shooting guard Kyle Korver.

The 32-year-old Hill was acquired from Sacramento at the trade deadline. He is owed a massive amount of money--$19 million--next season, and would likely enter the season as a backup to first-round draft pick Collin Sexton.

Considering Hill is a veteran who will likely want a bigger role on a better team, a trade here makes sense. Hill averaged 9.4 points and 2.8 assists in 24 games with the Cavs last season.

The 37-year-old Korver, meanwhile, is still an elite shooter. He hit on almost 44 percent of his threes last season and should be able to help a team in need of an outside threat.

However, Korver struggled in the NBA Finals, and occasionally can be exposed defensively.

Most likely, the Cavs should be able to find takers for both players. What they will be able to get back is another story.
