Last Sunday, against the Houston Texans, Washington Redskins quarterback Alex Smith suffered an incredibly gruesome injury, breaking two bones in his leg. Needless to say, he's done for the season.

Smith's Redskins lost the contest to the Texans and had a quick turnaround this week - taking on the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Colt McCoy got the start.

During the broadcast, CBS ran a quick bit about Adrian Peterson and Alex Smith. In it, whoever was doing the voiceover called Smith's leg a "drumstick."

"...but the same can't be said for the Skins' centerpiece, who broke his drumstick."

The Thanksgiving pun is not going over well. Here's the clip, and some reaction:

Washington wound up losing to Dallas, which means that the two teams are now tied atop he NFC East standings with 6-5 records. The Redskins, down their starting quarterback, could be facing an uphill battle moving forward.
