Earlier this week, reports suggested former Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury landed a new job as the offensive coordinator of the USC Trojans. However, despite the initial report, Kingsbury's agent revealed the coach did not make a decision on his coaching future.
After a night to think about the reported offer from USC, Kingsbury has reportedly still not decided whether or not he wants to coach with Clay Helton. According to ESPN's Adam Rittenberg, Kingsbury and USC are "still working on a possible deal."
No agreement has been made yet, though.
The former Texas Tech head coach reportedly received several offers from NFL teams to join their staff an an assistant. Several reports suggested the Dallas Cowboys will make an offer to Kingsbury, though that hasn't come to fruition just yet.
