Charles Barkley Guaranteed Florida State Would Beat Michigan At Halftime

Charles Barkley needs to stop trying to pick winners in the NCAA Tournament.

Charles Barkley may be a solid NBA analyst, but his ability to pick NCAA Tournament winners is among the worst out there. Barkley, yet again, was wrong on Saturday night.

Barkley, before the Michigan vs. Florida State contest, picked the Seminoles to upset the Wolverines. Why? He said that FSU had better depth - and that Michigan wouldn't be able to shoot as well as it had against Texas A&M.

Then, at halftime, with Michigan holding a one-point lead, Barkley doubled down. He guaranteed that Florida State would prevail.

Well, Barkley, amazingly, was wrong again. Michigan didn't play its best game of the tournament, but it did escape with a 58-54 win.

Barkley was right about one thing - Michigan didn't shoot as well as it did against Texas A&M. But the Wolverines still won, and that's all that matters.

Michigan, with the win, will now take on Loyola Chicago in the Final Four next Saturday. The winner heads to the national title game the following Monday night.
