Charles Barkley is calling for an upset in the second game of the day Saturday.
Loyola Chicago is currently up 12 points at halftime against Kansas State, meaning we're 20 minutes away from the first upset in the Elite Eight. Turner personality Charles Barkley thinks another is on the way too.
Barkley, speaking at halftime of the first contest, said he's taking Florida State to upset Michigan in the nightcap. He says that the Seminoles' depth will be too much. He also doesn't see the Wolverines shooting as well as they did against Texas A&M.
Here's the quote:
"I'm going with Florida State in this game. I think the depth, their big guys inside, it's going to wear Michigan down. I don't think that Michigan can shoot like they did last game. I don't think anyone can shoot like they did last game.
So I'm going with Florida State in an upset."
Keep in mind, Barkley's bracket has been a disaster this tournament. He isn't exactly someone to put your money behind.
We'll know the answer in just a few hours. Two of this year's Final Four tickets will be punched by midnight.
