Chris Mack Had A Message For Kentucky Today

Chris Mack is officially the next head coach of Louisville's men's basketball team. The Cardinals introduced him today.

The former Xavier coach left the Musketeers for Louisville, signing a seven-year deal worth $4 million annually.

Mack held his introductory press conference today. He was asked about a number of topics, including Kentucky.

Here's what he said about his new rival.

Mack said he can't wait to experience what is one of the best rivalries in all of sports. He also had a message for the Wildcats.

Louisville will be ready for them in 2018-19.

“Our season won’t be one game but you can sure bet we’ll be ready to go next year at the Yum [Center],”

Mack and Louisville will get to host rival Kentucky next season. The 2018-19 game is set to be played at the Yum! Center. Louisville's last three wins in the rivalry have all come at home.
