The supermodel has made a very generous offer to the star Olympian.
Chrissy Teigen has made a $100K offer to star United States gymnast McKayla Maroney. The supermodel is offering to pay her fine if she breaks her NDA.
Maroney was one of the more than 100 women who came forward regarding former USA Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar, accusing him of sexual abuse. Nassar pled guilty in November 2017.
Several of the accusers have spoken at Nassar’s hearing, but Maroney has not. She signed a non-disclosure agreement in 2016 pledging to stay silent.
Maroney sued Nassar in December 2016. She received a settlement of $1.2 million and the NDA was part of the agreement.
If Maroney ends up speaking out, she’ll be subject to a $100,000 fine. Teigen is offering to pay it.
“The entire principle of this should be fought – an NDA to stay quiet about this serial monster with over 140 accusers,” Teigen tweeted on Tuesday morning. “I would be absolutely honored to pay this fine for you, McKayla.”
Maroney has not yet responded to Teigen’s offer. She’s been inactive on social media for a while.

Maroney is one of many former star United States’ gymnasts who say they are victims of the sexual abuse.
Simone Biles, Aly Raisman and Gabby Douglas have also come forward.

USA Gymnastics released the following statement regarding Biles’ claim.
“USA Gymnastics is absolutely heartbroken, sorry and angry that Simone Biles or any of our athletes have been harmed by the horrific acts of Larry Nassar,” USA Gymnastics told CNN on Tuesday. “We are our athletes’ advocates. USA Gymnastics will continue to listen to our athletes and our members in our efforts of creating a culture of empowerment with a relentless focus on athlete safety every single day.”
