USC has gotten off to a good start against No. 3 Notre Dame tonight, as the Trojans have taken an early 7-0 lead against the Fighting Irish.

The USC fan base appears to be done with head coach Clay Helton, though.

Helton, who's believed by many to be on the hot seat, was shown on the video board at USC's home stadium this evening.

He got booed.

This isn't the first time Helton has been booed by his own fans.

It happened a couple of weeks ago, too.

If USC does end up firing Helton, the Trojans are rumored to be interested in Penn State head coach James Franklin.

Stay tuned.
