One of the top quarterbacks in the Big Ten appears to be in line to miss his team's season-opening game this weekend.
Northwestern senior quarterback Clayton Thorson has officially been listed as "questionable" for the Wildcats' season-opening game against Purdue on Thursday night.
Thorson is recovering from a torn ACL injury he suffered about eight months ago.
It doesn't look like he'll be 100 percent in time for the Week 1 game.
Northwestern is set to open its season with a Big Ten road game against the Boilermakers.
Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. E.T. on ESPN.
