A decision on retirement is reportedly coming soon for a legendary college football head coach.

Retirement rumors have been swirling all season for Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder and most do not expect him to be back in 2019.

Kansas State's athletic director is hoping for a decision from Snyder this week.

“I would expect something this week, one way or the other,” Gene Taylor told the Wichita Eagle. “The sooner the better.”

Kansas State struggled this season, going 5-7 and missing a bowl game.

The Wildcats feel like a program that needs a re-start, so many are hoping for a Snyder retirement and a fresh head coaching search to begin.

It remains unclear if Snyder is seriously considering retirement, though.

Stay tuned.
