Injury Update For Mascot Who Suffered A Brutal Injury During Game

colorado mascot gets escorted off the field

Colorado's mascot, Chip, suffered a brutal injury during a game a couple of weeks ago. He accidentally fired off a T-shirt cannon right into his groin area.

Chip was down on the field for a couple of minutes and then had to be escorted off of the field.

It was tough to watch.

Thankfully, Chip will be back soon. He's being listed as "probable" for Saturday's game.

From Ralphie Report:

Chip has been in recovery this week and should be ready to go for Friday. There’s a chance he won’t be 100%, but Chip could still be a difference-maker.

Colorado and UCLA are set to kick off at 9 p.m. E.T. on Friday.
