The first round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament is in the books, so let's take a look at how each conference performed.
At this point, we all know that the Pac-12 didn't make it out of the first round of this year's NCAA Tournament. Arizona, Arizona State and UCLA were all bounced by teams from New York State. But what about the rest of the conferences?
The Big Ten, which played its conference tournament a week early, remains undefeated. Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State and Purdue all won their opening round contests.
The ACC saw mixed results, posting a 5-4 record. Syracuse is the surprise, as the Orange have survived both Arizona State and TCU to reach the second round. Virginia, obviously, is the big disappointment.
The SEC had a nice opening round, finishing with a 6-2 record that only saw losses from Arkansas and Missouri.
