Country Singer Lands Date With NHL Player Via Twitter

The world of dating has changed. The days of meeting a guy or girl at your local coffee shop (pick your location) are over.

This day in age it's all dating apps and social media. Well, it works.

At least for one Nashville based country singer who scored a date with the starting goalie of the New Jersey Devils, Keith Kinkaid. Taylor Acorn, a rising star on the country scene, asked Kinkaid how many retweets it would take to earn a date.

Kinkaid replied, and obliged without without calling for any retweets at all.

Now, these two have met before, and it appears Acorn is a Devils fan so we're not sure if this is some type of hoax, or perhaps they're already dating(?). Just check out the photo below.
