The country's No. 1 graduate transfer has made his college decision. He's headed to the Big 12.

Matt Mooney, a graduate transfer guard out of South Dakota, has committed to Texas Tech. He'll be playing for the Red Raiders in 2018-19.

Multiple outlets have confirmed the news.

Mooney was arguably the best graduate transfer on the market. He was a standout player for South Dakota last season.

The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 18.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game last season. He shot 35 percent from the 3-point line, too.

This is a massive pickup for Texas Tech. The Red Raiders were one of the country's best teams in 2017-18 and the same could be true next season.
