The biggest game at the 2018 World Cup today will feature Portugal and Iran, who will be playing for a spot in the knockout round. Portugal needs a point to advance and Iran, assuming Spain wins its game against Morocco, needs a win.
The game is set to begin at 2 p.m. E.T. It'll be televised on FOX.
Iran has quite the fan support at this year's World Cup and those fans were making quite a lot of noise on Sunday night.
The country had a bunch of fans show up outside of Portugal's hotel. They appeared to be making noise all night.
Cristiano Ronaldo was not happy. There's video showing him at his hotel room window begging the fans to be quiet.
"Calling the hotel room of an opponent is for the past. Last night, Iranians partied outside Portugal’s hotel ahead of Iran-Portugal World Cup game today. The silouette is of (Cristiano Ronaldo) asking for quiet," ESPN's Darren Rovell tweeted.
Portugal and Iran aren't set to play until 9 p.m. local time in Russia today, so hopefully Ronaldo and his teammates were able to sleep in.
The game is set to begin at 2 p.m. E.T. It will be televised on FOX.
