Damian Lillard Just Responded To Kevin Durant's Comment About The Blazers

damian lillard asked about playing for the lakers

Damian Lillard is one of a few people who don't appear to be humored by the comments made by Kevin Durant during his appearance on C.J. McCollum's podcast this week.

Durant, appearing Lillard's teammate's podcast, laughed and said that the Blazers obviously won't be winning a championship this season.

"You know, you know you guys aren’t going to win a championship," Durant told McCollum in response to a comment made about the Warriors signing DeMarcus Cousins.

"Bro we have the team," McCollum said before getting interrupted by a Durant laugh, "we have the capabilities, anything is possible; we can win a championship bruh."

Much of the NBA world seems to find Durant's appearance on McCollum's podcast to be funny. And, most would agree with the "the Blazers aren't winning a championship" comment.

Lillard, though, does not.

The All-NBA point guard responded to the comments in an Instagram post.

The Blazers and the Warriors have combined to give us some really fun NBA games in recent years. Watching the Damian Lillard-led Blazers take on the Kevin Durant/Steph Curry/Klay Thompson/Draymond Green/DeMarcus Cousins-led Warriors is going to be fun to watch in 2018-19, too.

It looks like Lillard is going to be playing with a bit of an edge, also. That should make it more fun.
