Dana Jacobson is getting some deserved praise for the way she handled her interview with Leonard Hamilton on Saturday night.
Michigan took down Florida State on Saturday night, 58-54, earning a trip to this year's Final Four. The final few seconds - and the postgame interview from Seminoles head coach Leonard Hamilton - are what people are talking about Sunday morning.
Florida State, for some reason, elected not to foul with 11 seconds left on the clock, down four points. It's a move that no college basketball fan can understand - especially when we've seen far crazier things happen than a four-point comeback late.
In the video below, you can see Hamilton start walking to shake Michigan coach John Beilein's hand with eight seconds left on the clock.
After the game, Hamilton was interviewed by Dana Jacobson. He seemed genuinely confused and annoyed that she would ask him the question. It's almost as-if he didn't realize that they were only down four points.
Jacobson handled the interview incredibly well - never losing her cool. Her colleagues have noticed.
Perhaps, in time, Hamilton will be able to explain what happened. But it'll go down as one of the more confusing moments in NCAA Tournament history.
