DeMar DeRozan: We Would've Won If We Had LeBron

DeMar DeRozan at a press conference.

Here's what the Raptors' star said following his team's loss.

LeBron James is on the verge of making the NBA Finals for the seventh year in a row.

The Cavs beat the Raptors on Sunday afternoon, clinching a four-game sweep over the Eastern Conference's No. 3 seed.

Following the game, all Toronto star DeMar DeRozan could do was praise the NBA's best player.

"If we had LeBron on our team, too, we would have won," DeRozan said.

It's not necessarily what you want to hear from your best player after your season ends, but it's true, of course.

When LeBron has sat out of games, the Cavs haven't even been close to a .500 team. With him, they're on the verge of competing for an NBA title for the third year in a row.

How many teams in the East could win the conference if you put LeBron on the team? At least five to six, and probably more than that.
