Details Of The 'Nasty' Fight At Seahawks Training Camp

There was a brutal training camp fight at Seattle's practice on Thursday.

Details of the brutal fight at Seahawks' practice on Thursday have emerged.

The fight, which left former first-round pick Germain Ifedi going to the locker room with a bloody mouth, started during one-on-on pass rush drills.

Gregg Bell of The News Tribune says the fighting started during one-on-one pass rush drills. Ifedi ended up getting punched by former second round pick Frank Clark, who starred at Michigan.

Here are the details:

Then Ifedi, not in for the next snap, charged into a gaggle of defensive ends and tackles standing off the side of the drill. That’s when Clark jumped in, as if off a top rope of a pro wrestling ring.

But his flying punch was absolutely real. And damaging.

Clark has been involved in previous fights with teammates, most recently earlier this week with Luke Joeckel.

Pete Carroll said he was extremely disappointed by it.

“It’s just a regular camp-type (fight), tempers flare, frustrations and stuff like that,” Carroll said. “Then somebody goes overboard. We can do that. We can’t do it that way."
