The Red Wings are exploring legal options.
On Friday night, protesters at a “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Va. used the Detroit Red Wings’ logo on posters.
The team issued a statement on Saturday, condemning the demonstration, and threatening possible legal action for the use of their logo.
The protests stemmed from the removal of a statue of Confederate general Robert E. Lee.
