Dez Bryant made headlines this past weekend when he went off about the Dallas Cowboys and some of his former teammates on Twitter. The free agent wide receiver could soon start to make headlines for on-the-field performance.
Bryant has been linked to a couple of AFC North teams in recent days. The Cleveland Browns are rumored to be interested in signing him. Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver Antonio Brown tweeted at Bryant over the weekend.
NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo had a major update on Bryant this morning.
The Browns reportedly remain interested in Bryant, however no visit has been set up yet. It's possible that Bryant could meet with Cleveland's front office in the coming days.
"The Browns remain interested in Dez Bryant but no visit has been set up to this point. Still communicating," he tweeted.
NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported late last week that there was mutual interest between Bryant and the Browns and that there could be a visit today, however, that doesn't seem to be happening.
"The Browns and FA WR Dez Bryant have mutual interest and the team is working on scheduling a visit with him. Monday would be a logistical day, if not sooner. This could be a match," he tweeted.
