Dez Bryant Issues An Update On His Free Agency Rumors

Dez Bryant celebrates after a touchdown.

Free agency rumors have been swirling for veteran wide receiver Dez Bryant this month. The former Dallas Cowboys star has been linked to several NFL teams, though he remains unsigned.

Bryant visited the Cleveland Browns earlier this month, though it appears nothing is going to come of that. Josh Gordon is back with the Browns and Bryant might be interested in other teams.

The latest teams to be mentioned for Bryant are the Patriots and the Jaguars. Both teams are lacking wide receiver depth for various reasons. Bryant could be a nice fit for both teams.

It's looking like Bryant is going to remain a free agent for a while longer, though.

The star wide receiver took to Twitter late on Monday night to update his plans.

"I can (still play) I just have to take care of me first....gave to much love and not received at least half back...I will play ball this year just might be a lil bit later in the year.. we will see," he tweeted in response to a question about his future.

Bryant might no longer be the elite wide receiver he was with Tony Romo, but the former Cowboys wide receiver can certainly still play at a high level.

Stay tuned.
