Could Dez Bryant be teaming up with arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL? It seems like that is becoming a possibility.
Earlier Sunday, Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown tweeted a message to Bryant, telling the former Dallas Cowboys wideout to join him for the 2018 season.
Bryant, 29, remains a free agent after being released by the Cowboys earlier this year. It's unclear how much interest teams have in him as training camp begins.
Brown told Bryant he needs to come play with him.
"Come play with me @DezBryant let’s get the chip..........Eat Greedy......Big plates......." he tweeted.
Bryant retweeted Brown's message.
A Dez-AB duo in Pittsburgh would certainly be something to watch. The Steelers have a Hall of Fame quarterback in Ben Roethlisberger who would likely be able to manage those two as well as anyone in the league.
The Browns are also rumored to have interest in Bryant - they've confirmed that they've at least had discussions about signing him - but it's unclear how serious it is. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that they're trying to schedule a meeting.
Bryant is reportedly interested in signing a sizable one-year contract for 2018 so he can prove himself and then hit free agency in 2019.
