The NCAA Tournament is wrapping up. We're down to four teams.
On one side of the bracket, we have a No. 11 seed and a No. 3 seed. On the other side, we have two No. 1 seeds.
No. 3 Michigan will take on No. 11 Loyola in the first game of the Final Four on Saturday night. No. 1 Kansas and No. 1 Villanova will play in the second game.
What if we re-seeded the NCAA Tournament once we got to the Final Four?
Dick Vitale made that suggestion on Twitter today.
This year, we would get No. 1 Villanova vs. No. 11 Loyola and No. 1 Kansas vs. No. 3 Michigan.
It's an interesting idea. There will be bracket purists that are against it, of course, but it would give us the best chance for the top teams (seed wise, anyway) to meet in the national title game.
The Final Four is set to begin shortly after 6 p.m. E.T. on Saturday. It'll be on TBS.
