Did Sidney Crosby Get Away With A Dirty Play?

Sidney Crosby on the ice.

Penguins captain Sidney Crosby may have gotten away with a ridiculous play.

The Pittsburgh Penguins and Nashville Predators took the ice for Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Through four games, the series is tied at two games apiece, and the bad blood was flowing well before the two teams took the ice tonight.

The biggest feud on the ice came between Penguins captain Sidney Crosby and Nashville defenseman P.K. Subban. That was never more evident than on this play that came in the first period.

Crosby can be seen clearly pushing Subban's head into the ice. While it does look like Crosby's glove got stuck in the Nashville defenseman's helmet, that doesn't excuse the dirty play.

Both Crosby and Subban received matching minors for "holding."
