The president wants to bring the Olympics to Los Angeles.
If Donald Trump has his way, the Summer Olympics will soon be held in the United States.
The president tweeted out this morning that he's "working hard" to bring the Olympics to Los Angeles.
"Working hard to get the Olympics for the United States (L.A.). Stay tuned!" he wrote.
Los Angeles and Paris are the only two cities trying to land the 2024 Summer Olympics.
The IOC will soon be voting on a proposal that will simultaneously award the '24 and '28 Olympics, so L.A. seems to be a lock to get one of them.
The United States last held an Olympic games in 2002, when the Winter Olympics were in Salt Lake City. The 1996 Summer Olympics were held in Atlanta. Los Angeles last hosted the Summer Olympics in 1984.
