A star NBA player was reportedly confronted by angry teammates following a loss on Monday evening.
Golden State Warriors players reportedly confronted Draymond Green in the locker room after the team’s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night.
Green rebounded the ball with about 5 seconds left and decided to take the ball up himself instead of passing to Kevin Durant or Klay Thompson, who wanted the ball.
Late game exchange between Kevin Durant/Draymond Green carried into locker room Monday night, w/ teammates loudly confronting Green for decision-making on final play of regulation. Scene described as one of most intense of this G-State era.
Organization is working through the aftermath of Monday night’s episode today, league sources said.
Video showed Durant and Green arguing on the bench following the game. Durant was clearly demanding the ball at the end of regulation:
