After Missing On Kevin Knox, Duke Has Officially Offered 4-Star SF Jordan Tucker

Duke has moved onto Plan B after Kevin Knox picked Kentucky.

Five-star small forward Kevin Knox was expected to pick Duke on Saturday, but he opted for Kentucky instead, leaving the Blue Devils with an opening in their recruiting class.

Many Duke fans speculated the program would offer uncommitted four-star small forward Jordan Tucker. It turns out, they were right.

Tucker confirmed minutes ago on Twitter that the Blue Devils have officially offered.

The 6-foot-7, 205-pound Tucker named Indiana and Villanova as his leaders in December, but the dismissal of IU head coach Tom Crean led to him delaying his recruitment. Syracuse began trending for Tucker, and he officially visit the Orange last month. Now, Duke is picking up steam in his 247Sports Crystal Ball.

Tucker is the No. 77 player in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.
