Dwyane Wade is coming to the end of an illustrious NBA career. It looks like his son is preparing to carry on his legacy though.
Zaire Wade is only 16, but the 6-foot-2 point guard has serious game. He plays for Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage and is already drawing interest from major college programs.
From this video that is going viral today, it is not hard to see why. Zaire, a smooth southpaw, is playing in the Miami Pro-Am this summer and he's getting a chance to play against some legit competition.
In this clip, he comes off the pick-and-roll and hits a jumper in the face of New York Knicks guard Tim Hardaway Jr.
Clearly, he's not intimidated by an NBA opponent.
Look at the handle and the step-back there. He even has the subtle push-off with the off arm down pat.
This kid is going to be the real deal. It will be fun to follow his career over the next few years.
Dwyane might want to stick around a couple of more years if it means he can share the NBA with his son.
